The inspiration for this party guide was a fantastic Candyland cake I saw in a cooking magazine…more on that later. Order your Candyland party supplies online to make shopping easy. Decorations
Candyland Party Decorations- Use sidewalk chalk or construction paper to create a path (like the path in the Candyland game) on the sidewalk leading to your door.
- Make large fake lollipops to line the walkway. See an example here.
- Use inspiration from the game:
- Mr. Mint = candy canes. Decorate with large cutouts decorated like candy canes (often sold as Christmas decorations.)
- Princess Lolly: Make a lollipop wreath to hang on your door. See an example here.
- Lord Licorice: Twist together red and black streamers and add a large bunch of red and black balloons.
- Tie a balloon to the back of each chair, and tie a group of five balloons to the birthday child’s chair.
